Caboolture to Beerburrum Duplication
The Caboolture to Beerburrum track upgrade and duplication is currently underway. This project includes track duplication and straightening, road realignments, and upgrades to Elimbah and Beerburrum rail stations.

Beerburrum to Landsborough Track Duplication
The Beerburrum to Landsborough upgrade will follow on from the Caboolture to Beerburrum upgrade. This project involves duplication, track straightening, and upgrades to Glasshouse Mountains and Beerwah Stations.

Beerwah Rail Crossing Project
Constructing a road connection over the railway south
of Beerwah to remove the open level crossing in the
centre of town.

Caboolture to Maroochydore Corridor Study
The Caboolture to Maroochydore Corridor Study proposed a passenger rail service bringing off the North Coast railway line Beerwah and extending through Caloundra to Maroochydore. The new line will provide a public transport spine for the Sunshine Coast and link the coastal urban area to Brisbane.

Caloundra South Rail Corridor Realignment Study
ARUP has been commissioned by the Department of Transport and Main Roads to undertake the Caloundra South Rail Corridor Realignment Study. This study will include a land use and transport integration review of the original Caboolture to Maroochydore Corridor Study alignment between the Bruce Highway and Sugar Bag Road.

Maroochydore Station Corridor Study
The Department of Transport and Main Roads has been asked to undertake a corridor alignment and station location study in Maroochydore to explore the implications of the future plans of the Horton Park Golf Club to relocate. The study will assess if realignment presents improved passenger benefits within the Maroochydore central business area and identify other social, cultural and environmental benefits.

CoastConnect – Caloundra to Maroochydore
The Department of Transport and Main Roads is undertaking investigations into a bus priority corridor between Caloundra and Maroochydore.
